I’ll jump Squeaky. Here it is.

My name is Zelie Dember-Slack and I’m a late bloomer but I have plenty of stories to tell. In fact, I recently went back to film school to learn how to conquer some very technical issues for an old labour of love feature film called “The Sweetest Heir.” It’s a Family Comedy about becoming rich through an inheritance.

(Pitch)While restoring an old jewelry box, a tween discovers a hidden locket and a deed to an unclaimed estate worth $450 million dollars.

(His/her objective:) She wants to claim the estate and move her family into the Beverly Hills property by Christmas, which is two weeks away.

(Conflict:) However, Caroline Stone, the late Mrs. Winthorp’s maid, is determined to keep the estate and all of the money for herself. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

This film doesn’t have any stars in it but it has heart and I plan to use it as a calling card to prep for directing my next project. Would you please consider taking a look at it when I’m done? I’m currently getting bids on color correction and hope to finish by the Sundance late deadline.

If they say yes, I’ll ask for a card to contact assistant to send.

    Ready for your feedback.

    Mmm….

In an elevator, I would say, Ron I wrote a feature film with a lot of heart. It’s called “The Sweetest Heir.” It’s a Family Comedy about becoming rich through an inheritance. It’s about a tween girl, NAME, who discovers an old jewelry box, with a locket inside of it and a deed to an unclaimed estate worth $450 million dollars. She sets out to claim the property and to move herself and her family in it, but the maid of the late estate owner will stop at nothing to claim it for herself.

I would love to send you a few scenes from the script or perhaps the entire screenplay. Is it possible that I can send it to you?

    Or something like this.

Even if the film is almost completed?

I will definitely use this Pitch format though. Thank you. Z
