“Packaging your Project: Contact the talent’s manager

One way to get talent to look at your project is to go through their manager. I purposely didn’t say an agent because I believe it may not be the best first step to take. While there are many loving agents in the world, their job is simply to employ the talent and make money for themselves. A manager’s job is to help shape their clients’ career and guide each client step-by-step in getting exposure. A manager may better understand the heart of the talent more than the agent. Also managers work closely with the talent so are more apt to know what projects are better suited for their clients than an agent. Reach out to the managers of the prospective talent and appeal to them to read your script.”
